Background

A small dealer in a small town, B&B Ford in Sheboygan Falls still refers to itself with the slogan I developed in the mid-’80s: “The Home of the No-Nonsense Deal.” The dealership’s appeal is that it is folksy, unpretentious (even self-deprecating), honest, helpful, and antihype. There is also a strong family atmosphere, evidenced by the many spouses, siblings, and sons/daughters B&B employs. Care has always been taken to embed the dealership’s low-key but appealing personality into its advertising. The success of this homespun approach to selling and servicing cars is evidenced by B&B’s ability so grow and prosper in the shadows of the many larger dealers nearby, and by the bulletin board tacked full of compliments from customers and the community.

Note: please try to see through the poor graphic design of these. The designer was deficient in this regard (me).
